From July 30 - August 1 2004, Erica, Victoria and I walked a sixty mile walk for Breast Cancer. It spaned over three days and was in Boston, starting at the Topsfield Fairgrounds and ending at Bunker Hill Community College (or something like that). It was absolutely life-changing and incredible and sent chills all over my body. Each participant was required to fundraise a minimum of $2,000. 85% of the funds raised benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, while the other 15% go to a special breast cancer fund in the National Philanthropic Trust. Victoria, Erica and I were able to raise over $7,500 total!!! I'm DEFINITELY in for next year. E-mail me if you're interested in joining my team for next year- I'm trying to get at least five people this time, at least one being male. Come one come all!
